What time do you start and finish on a Sunday?

We are fairly flexible around this, we have a couple of volunteers who like to start early at around 7:30 and the main team arrive at 9am. We usually go for around 2-3 hours but this is purely down to what you would like to do, even one hour is great to have your support.

 

Do I need to be fit?

No not really, we can cater for people with different fitness levels and even if you are house bound there is always something you can help with such as editing content on our website. We cater for all ages and currently have volunteers from 16 to 90 years old. Working on uneven surfaces is great for those getting older and we have volunteers who have had hip replacements that have found the work very beneficial.

 

Do I need to bring any tools and do I need to wear boots

If you have gardening gloves bring those otherwise we can supply gloves and all tools you will require. In terms of boots in the winter yes boots are ideal otherwise if it has been dry for 2-3 days any hardwearing shoes should be fine.

 

Can I do this as part of my school services / Duke of Edinburgh Awards?

Yes we do cater for this, one of our volunteers is a retired teacher and is happy to assist with this.

 

Do you accept corporate groups?

Yes we are happy to speak you you about bringing your team to work with us and have done plenty of these in the past. Please contact us via the email or send a message below

 

Where do we meet up?

Where to meet up depends on the day of the week and if the stadium is open or not so please contact us on when you want to attend and we can tell you where to meet us.
